AI in Drug Discovery: New Perspectives and Challenges

Abstract
Technology especially in drug discovery, drug analysis, and drug manufacturing is growing exponentially. There has been a great increase in the way the new drugs or compounds of medicinal importance are discovered, treated, and formulated. Among all technologies, Artificial Intelligence has greatly influenced drug discovery. Ai is known to be more impactful when it comes to identifying, analyzing drug components beneficial for treatment of various kinds of ailments and diseases. This research paper delves into the core facets of drug discovery with the use of revolutionary technology like artificial intelligence. It explores different concepts, and methodologies backed up with the AI that help or promote drug discovery. It concludes with the challenges that it poses when it comes to innovating in the drug industry and also proposes possible solutions to mitigate the risks that are associated with the use of this AI technology.
