The Rise of Web 4.0 and Strategic Recruitment

Abstract
With Web 4.0 catalyzing the digital revolution, enterprise recruitment has undergone a transformational shift characterized by advanced personalization, artificial intelligence, and immersive user experience. No doubt, modern technologies have a direct impact on the way the organization functions, recruiting as one big business strategy is known to be more data centered with adaptive and flexible approaches. This paper attempts to explore Web 4.0 technologies and their influence on the recruitment functionalities. It analyzes the roles of the intelligent bots, predictive analytics, blockchain based candidate verification, virtual reality, augmented reality and other technology-based systems and solutions that shape modern recruitment. Though these innovations help enhance recruitment processes and outcomes, they present bigger challenges too in terms of ethical dilemmas, data privacy, data management, and security. Drawing on contemporary business practices, existing literature, the study argues, represents integration of web 4.0 as a strategic move for strategic recruitment.
